Killarney bus station is within 5 minutes' walk of the hotel, while the roofless Muckross Abbey is around 10 minutes' drive away.

During my recent stay at the Killarney Park, I found the hotel to be a blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. The room was comfortable, although some areas could benefit from a touch-up. The highlight for me was the spacious shower with excellent water pressure.While the breakfast was delicious, I found it to be on the pricey side for what was offered. Unfortunately, it wasn't included in the room rate, which was a disappointment considering the overall cost of our stay.The staff, however, were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The hotel's interior was well-decorated, featuring cozy fireplaces throughout. The central location made it convenient to explore the town.Although the hotel offers luxurious services such as valet parking and a fitness center, the value proposition may not align with the steep price tag for some guests. If you seek attentive service and a convenient location, the Killarney Park may be worth the splurge.
